We like the location, my husband and I did walks in the morning and walked in the evening. The neighbors were very friendly and the grounds were nice , it's just been so hot but with all the crepe myrtle trees along the road it was very shady. The staff was very friendly, Mrs Juanita, Mrs Mary, Ms Nella, Ms shonda they were very friendly, and pleasant they all didn't mind talking with you. The breakfast is awesome in the mornings. The owner is very friendly as well, he greeted each and every couple or family that stayed there. He spok with each couple and family, he really took his time out.The tour of the house was awesome, Babe the family pet is very precious, when my husband went swimming and drove in the pool she's like a little lifeguard She barks and make sure you're oka Very quiet at night very private.

We enjoyed the beautiful property as well as the food and atmosphere at breakfast. We enjoyed the southern hospitality from the staff. A talented man serenaded the guests at breakfast with various show tunes and classical music as well as a rendition of Happy Birthday for some guests who had come there to celebrate. We don’t know if that was the norm there but we certainly enjoyed it. The owner stopped by the breakfast area after we had finished eating, he was very personable we enjoyed speaking with him.

A wonderful antebellum mansion, The Burn only has four rooms to let, so you are a really a paying guest in a private mansion. The owner and some staff live there. Breakfast is served on the dot of 8.30, and it was memorable for being accompanied by piano playing. There is a swimming pool, and this was most welcome after driving from Memphis over the previous two days.

Beautiful, clean home. Mrs. Nell and the other ladies are so sweet and accommodating. We stayed in the Lucy Room. The room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Franco plays piano during breakfast and at 5:30 every evening and he is phenomenal. Every aspect of the stay was amazing. Location is very convenient to down town. Plenty of parking.

The breakfast was very well prepared and served (to date, all our breakfasts had been buffet style - this was more formal). The accomodations were extremely comfortable, and it was a beautiful setting. The staff was so very accommodating, and we greatly appreciated them all. We also appreciated the tour of this old house that has been so well maintained.
